Attainable Homeownership Program
Attainable Homes Calgary (AHC) is a non-profit, social enterprise created in 2009 by The City of Calgary to help moderate-income Calgarians achieve their dream of homeownership.
The Attainable Homeownership Program does not use the market to determine pricing. This program gives you the benefit of attaining a home at a lower price than homes in the nearby market with the added guarantee that Attainable Homes will buy the home back at the same price you paid.
The Heights
Nestled in the peaceful, residential neighborhood of Radisson Heights, The Heights offers convenient access to International Avenue and all the main roadways.
Choose from one to five bedrooms, each home thoughtfully designed with premium details like stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, washer and dryer, LVP flooring, matte black hardware, and modern window coverings. Select your preferred sand or stone color palette to complete your perfect space.
Keep an eye out as construction begins on the David D. Oughton Memorial Park adjacent to the development. This new green space will offer the whole community a perfect spot to relax and recharge.
Eligibility
To join our Attainable Homeownership Program, you need to meet certain eligibility criteria. Each development has its own specific requirements.
Check Your Eligibility for The Heights
- Household income minimum of $69,918 not to exceed $139,836 (before taxes)
- Assets are below $50,000 or 20% of the purchase price. Your RRSP/RESP and primary vehicle do not count against you.
- You can qualify for a mortgage.
- You contribute a minimum of $2,000 toward your 5% down payment.
- Your household size is appropriately matched with the size of the home.
- You live in the home and it’s your only home AND you adhere to the required responsibilities of homeownership.
