Did you know that Attainable Homes was created by the City of Calgary to help moderate-income Calgarians achieve their dreams of homeownership? To do so, our team works with a board of directors which includes our Mayor, Jyoti Gondek! Every year, our lovely Director of Communications & Stakeholder Engagement, Jen McCarron, is tasked with the Annual Report. This is no easy task but it is a great tool for our board members and the community to see all the heart warming stories and of course all the hard work the AHC team has been doing throughout the year!
This year we unveiled our 2022 Annual Report, “More Housing Faster” where we presented our new strategic plan (to provide “more housing faster”); a story about our cover family (Meaghan, Caitlin, and Theo) who attained homeownership through our non-profit program; a story about how we are acquiring re-sale homes for our clients; and messages from our President, Board Chair, and Mayor Jyoti Gondek.
